CAN YOU DO A PERMANENT FOUNDATION FOR MY MOBILE HOME?

Yes, of course. Just let us know and we will ensure that your home's permanent foundation will be approved for bank lenders. If it is an existing home, the first step is to order an engineering inspection which will outline the scope of work required. We can help guide you along this process.

Do you do other services such as grading, clearing, driveways, water lines, septic systems, electric meter bases, trim-out, decks, or skirting?

No, we do not perform these services. But depending on your location, we may be able to recommend a trusted contractor to you.

CAN YOU ADD ANCHORS TO MY EXISTING MOBILE HOME?

Yes, we can help add a tiedown system to your existing home to make sure it is compliant with HUD safety regulations.

Can you do an FHA permanent foundation for my mobile home?

Yes, of course. Just let us know and we will ensure that your home’s permanent foundation will be FHA approved.

What is a FHA permanent foundation?

Permanent foundations must be constructed of durable materials; i.e. concrete, mortared masonry, or treated wood - and must be site built. It shall have attachment points to anchor and stabilize the manufactured home to transfer all loads to the underlying soil or rock. The permanent foundations shall be structurally developed in accordance with the permanent foundations guide for manufactured homes for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development or be structurally designed by a licensed professional engineer for vertical stability and lateral stability.

How must my site be graded prior to receiving a manufactured home?

The home site should be level if possible, with a crown to run water to the perimeter. All water must be diverted around the home. There must be a minimum of 6” of fall for the first 10’ around the home on all sides. The path from the road to the home site must be sufficiently wide and without sharp changes in grade. We are happy to come out and do a site consultation to go over your specific needs.

Do you do other services such as grading, clearing, driveways, water lines, septic systems, electric meter bases, trimout, decks, or skirting?

Yes, we can help you with all of these items! Let us know what you need and we will make it happen.

How long does it take to install a mobile home on a foundation?

This depends on specific site conditions but in general it will take 1 day to set up a single wide and 2-3 days to set up a double wide, once the home is at your site. We make sure to take the extra time to make sure everything is done correctly. After the home is installed on the foundation it will be time for siding, trimout, and utilities.

How much does it cost to install a mobile home?

Each job is different. Give us a call for a quote, it will vary based on site conditions including slope, soil bearing capacity, accessibility, type of home, and type of foundation.
