Plan the real conditions
Route, grade, weather, access, and site readiness are part of the work, not afterthoughts.
About Superior
Superior Mobile Home Setup brings business planning, lifelong construction experience, and hands-on field leadership together for a more reliable setup process.

Our beginning
While developing manufactured home properties, Michael Blanchard saw how much every project depended on a capable installer. Michael and Christopher Jones met when Michael became a customer of another construction business Chris operated. Chris had spent most of his life around construction, equipment, welding, and fabrication—and shared Michael’s frustration with homes being rushed or set without enough care.
They combined Michael’s planning and business systems with Chris’s field leadership and started Superior to do the work differently: plan honestly, protect the home, respect the people doing the work, and set every home as if it were their own.
The people and equipment
Michael and Chris built Superior around shared decisions, clear responsibility, and equipment selected for the conditions crews face on real Georgia properties.

How we work
Every job has different constraints. The working principles stay the same.
Route, grade, weather, access, and site readiness are part of the work, not afterthoughts.
Tighter tolerances, the right equipment, and a deliberate pace matter more than rushing to the next job.
Customers deserve clear expectations, and crew members deserve respect, a livable wage, and room to grow.

Meet the co-owners
Michael leads planning, coordination, and the business side. Chris leads field execution. Major decisions are made together, keeping the office plan connected to the reality on site.

Office Operations Lead
Michael entered manufactured housing through property development in 2020 after managing large-scale commercial solar construction projects. A Georgia Tech mechanical engineering graduate, he brings a systems-minded approach to site readiness, permitting support, scheduling, customer communication, transport planning, and setup coordination.

Field Operations Manager
Chris brings four years of specialized manufactured home experience and a lifetime around construction. He grew up operating and repairing equipment, then learned welding, fabrication, farm repair, and nearly every side of hands-on construction. Today, he turns that background into careful field execution, from transporting the home to dialing in the final installation.
“We set homes the way we’d want our own set. We refuse to cut corners.”
Christopher Jones, Jr. · Field Operations Manager
Why the work matters
Chris grew up between Covington and Gainesville and has lived in this part of Georgia his whole life. That local connection makes the work personal: customers are neighbors, former classmates, and families whose kids may share the same ballfields.
Some Superior projects help first-time homeowners reach a long-awaited milestone. Others help families return to normal after a house fire or another traumatic loss. After a journey that can take a year or more, the field team gets to help bring the final pieces together—with craftsmanship the customer can feel good about.
